James T. Wolfram

Funeral services for Rev. James T. Wolfram, 90, of Spirit Lake, will be 10:30 am, Monday, September 8, 2014, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Spirit Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to, Mission Central or Camp Okoboji Memorial Fund in memory of Rev. Wolfram. Reverend James (Jim) Theodore Wolfram, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 4, 2014. He was born on January 4, 1924 in May City, Iowa. Schools he attended include Concordia Academy and College in St. Paul, Minnesota and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. Jim served in parishes in Ardmore and Waurika, Oklahoma, Lester and Larchwood, Iowa and Mallard and Ayrshire, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Walter and Clara Wolfram and brother, Rev. Marcus Wolfram. He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Darlene Wolfram; children, Timothy Wolfram and his wife, Shirley, Rev. Michael Wolfram and his wife, Joy, Pamela Burns and her husband, Bruce; eight grandchildren, Karen Fortune, Mathew Wolfram, Jodi Erickson, Rebekah Mustaleski, Michelle Schlueter, Shay Winder, Mark Wolfram and Janelle Thompson. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; foster children, Lynne and Paula Stanek and sister, Ruth Buerger.
