Beverly Wagner

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakefield, Minnesota. Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Lakefield. Beverly LaVonne Wagner, the daughter of Henry and Willo Dietz, was born July 27, 1929 in her home near Fairmont, Minnesota. She was raised and educated near Jackson, Minnesota. On September 2, 1946, Beverly was united in marriage to Ray Chester Wagner at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakefield. The couple made their home in rural Lakefield, where they engaged in farming. Beverly embraced the farm life, as she raised their children, Ray, Jr., and Judy. Beverly was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakefield, where she was active in her Circle. She was an avid bowler, bowling in a weekly league, and involved in the neighborhood card club. In later years, Beverly enjoyed taking trips to area casinos, as well as casinos in Laughlin, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Above all, however, Beverly loved spending time with her family. Beverly passed away peacefully Sunday, March 15, 2015, at her home, with her son and Donna by her side, at eighty-five years of age. She is survived by her children, Ray Junior Wagner (Donna), and Judy (Carl) Olson; grandchildren, Matthew Bronstad, Janine Nelson, Gary Bronstad, Brenda (Brent) Moritz and Rick (Michelle) Bronstad and nine great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; siblings, Duane Clark, Quentin Clark and Bud Stedman.
