Brandon Cox

A funeral service will be held Monday, April 14, 2014 at 2:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home. Brandon Colby Cox, the son of James Douglas Jr. Cox and Melinda Gail (Brock) Rebollar, was born August 11, 1986 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He graduated from high school and completed some college and trade school classes through Job Corps in Hot Springs. On December 22, 2005, Brandon married Amanda Cox in Hot Springs. In November, 2007, they moved to the Lakes area. Brandon enjoyed fishing, hunting, rock finding, drawing, video games and playing with his kids. Brandon passed away April 8, 2014 in Estherville, Iowa at twenty-seven years of age. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Cox; five children, Haley, Tim and Aiden Cox, Skylar and Sophia Roberts; girlfriend, Jessi Roberts; mother, Melinda Rebollar and his step-dad, Alfredo Rebollar; father, Doug Cox; four siblings, Marcus Cox, Ricki Rebollar, Jose Rebollar and Elena Rebollar. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sue E. Turner and grandfather, Virgus Brock, Jr.
