Cindy Schomaker

A memorial service for Cindy Schomaker, age 62, of Milford, will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 at 10:30am at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 1st after 3:00pm with the family present from 5:00-7:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford.

Cindy Ann Schomaker, the daughter of Wavel and Marilynn Moyer, was born on August 21, 1958 in Estherville, Iowa. Growing up, Cindy attended grade school and later earned her high school diploma.

On August 3, 1974, she was united in marriage to Dale Schomaker in Milford, Iowa.

Throughout her life, Cindy lived in Terril and Milford. She attended the Methodist church and was a member of the Red Pants Bowling Team.

In her free time, Cindy enjoyed gardening, crafting, traveling and seeing all the beautiful scenery, dancing, socializing, hosting, and entertaining. She loved to spend time with her family and friends whether it was at family gatherings, meeting her friends for happy hour, or enjoying drinks on the beaches. She always felt spiritually connected and believed in dragonflies.

Cindy passed away June 25, 2021, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Dale; son, Jason; daughter, Justina; grandchildren: Brendan, Seth, Chaz, Jace, Xaviere, Oren, Keyanna, Kade, and Hunter; great-grandchildren: Khloe, Emma, Aliyah, and Gabriel; extended family and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mick; and great-granddaughter, Ayesha Ryan.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to benefit Cindy's favorite charities.
