Clifford Moriston

A memorial service for Clifford Moriston, age 69, will be held Friday, October 11, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Burial will be at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery.

Clifford Charles Moriston, age 69, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, passed away on October 5, 2024. He was born on October 31, 1954, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Forest Grant and Dorothy Mae (Watkins) Moriston.

Clifford earned his high school diploma and went on to have a career as a cement truck driver. He married Teresa Fales on April 21, 1984, in Spirit Lake.

A talented woodworker, Clifford enjoyed sharing his skills with family, crafting cherished items, including bassinets for his grandchildren.

Clifford is survived by his children, Miranda Moriston and Nathon Moriston; grandchildren, Aiden Moriston-Brown and Wynter Moriston; his sisters, Cheryl (Ken) Mager and Jackie Jenkins; his brother, Keith (Roxanne) Moriston; along with nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Moriston; his brother, Fred Moriston; and his nephew, Boe Moriston.
