David Medlin

David Wayne Medlin was born on July 1, 1969 in Fresno, California, the son of Roslyn Jean Ramey and David Medlin. After receiving his high school education, he moved to Nebraska in 1987 and then to Iowa in 1993. David was married to Karla Leiting from 1994-2000. He worked in manufacturing and had just completed is CDL. He was known to be a very hard worker and he also enjoyed fishing and boating. David was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was kind to all his friends and neighbors. He was very supportive to everyone he came in contact with. His family will miss him and they love him very much. David passed away March 29, 2010 at his home in Newton, Iowa at forty years of age. He is survived by his mother, Roslyn Ramey of California; sons, Nathan Medlin and Corbin (Medlin) VanBridsen; daughter, JaLea Medlin; granddaughter, Genesis Marie Macias; sister, Elaine Koontz and nieces Alexis, Marissa and Keegan and nephews, Bryson and Riley; sister, Tammy Webster and her husband Michael and nephews, Evan, Braiden and Cameron; Aunt Shirley and Uncle Billy; Terry and Jeremy R., Thelma T., Bertha T.; several cousins; Grandmother Medlin and numerous other family members on the Medlin side.
