Desiree Tschettter

Funeral services for Desiree Tschetter, 32, of Spirit Lake will be 11 am, Friday, June 10, 2016, at United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Desiree Cassandra Tschetter was born January 25, 1984 in Sun Valley, California. The family moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa in 1996, where Desiree graduated from Spirit Lake High School. Desiree was a member of the United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake. She enjoyed bowling as well as attending music concerts with her friends. Desiree loved spending holidays, birthdays and other special occasions with her family. Desiree passed away Monday, June 6, 2016, at Lake Park Care Center in Lake Park at thirty-two years of age. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Salvador Escandon and her paternal grandparents, Edward and Catherine Tschetter. Desiree is survived by her mother Shirley Von Ehwegen and her husband, Mark; sister, Ammie Straub and her husband Justin and their children, Emily and Justin, II; brother Brandon Van Noort; step-father, Brett Van Noort, maternal grandmother, Irene Collins; step-grandparents, Gerret and Sharron Van Noort; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
