Donna Minnie Larson was born February 2, 1921 in Everly, Iowa the daughter of Everett and Maude (Twogood) Boyles. She was raised and educated in Everly, where she was a graduate of Everly High School.
Donna was united in marriage to Alvin Larson on December 25, 1940, in Spencer, Iowa. The couple made their home near Milford, where they raised their family and farmed. In 2001, she moved to Milford Nursing Center.
Donna was a member of Little Sioux Lutheran Church in rural Milford, before becoming a member of First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji. At Little Sioux Lutheran, she was active in the church Circle. She enjoyed baking, quilting and cross word puzzles. She also enjoyed playing cards and marbles.
Donna passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Milford Nursing Center in Milford, at eighty-eight years of age.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bob Larson (Linda) of Milford, Dick Larson (Joann) of Spirit Lake, Tom Larson (Lin) of Milford, Ann Paige of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Lewis Larson of Mason City, Iowa and Randy Larson (Dona) of Milford; siblings, Delbert Boyles, Jim Boyles, Mary Foxhoven and Parma Lasche; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, three brothers and two grandsons.
