Donna Lee Turner was born September 22, 1960 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of James and Ruth (Hunter) Allen. She lived in Hawaii, California, Virginia, Arkansas and Alaska before moving to Iowa.
Donna was united in marriage to Wes Turner on May 7, 2005. Donna owned Gibs Lounge in Milford for eighteen years.
Donna was a very sociable, well liked diva. She had many best friends. She'd be the one to give her shirt off her back or offer you a place to stay. She was caring, loving and giving and always worried about others. She definitely was a giver in her years.
She wasn't one to keep house because she would rather spend her time with her family. She especially enjoyed her time with Wes. They loved to take bike rides and go trucking. He was her love, life and future.
Donna passed away September 22, 2011 at Spencer Municipal Hospital in Spencer, Iowa at fifty-one years of age.
She was survived by her sister, Diana L. Bowman; Max, her shiatsu, furry son and Noel her furry daughter.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother and husband.
Interment will be next to her husband, Wes, at the Mount Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery in Talbott, Tennessee.
