E.R. Bunde

There will be no formal services for Mr. E.R. Bunde of Estherville, formerly of the Lakes Area. Eugene Robert Bunde was born May 13, 1938 to Robert and Matilda Bunde at Watertown, South Dakota. He passed away at his residence on April 23, 2014. Gene was joined together November 24, 1962 to his partner, Cleo Coleman. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and watching the wildlife by the Des Moines River. He was a Benefactor member of the NRA, a life member of the North American Hunting Club of America and a life member of the (OOIDA) Owner, Operator, Independent Drivers Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Tillie; three sisters, Irene, Vernetta and Lois; his son, Todd Bunde. Gene is survived by his partner, Cleo Bunde; son, Timothy and his wife, Jodi and their daughter, Lydia of Spencer, Iowa; daughter, Tracey and her husband, Damen Mitchell and their children, Amber and Kyler of Airel, Washington; daughter, Diane and her husband, Steve Addison and their children, Steve, Ashley and Alicia of Portland, Oregon; one great-granddaughter, Austin. He was also survived by Todd's daughter, Karinda Kemp, of Kannapolis, North Carolina; his sister, Betty Stumpf of Belle Plaine, Minnesota and last but not least, his beloved puppy, Buffy, who is completely lost.
