Edward Lloyd

Edward David Lloyd, Jr., the son of Bernice (Myrick) and Edward David Lloyd, Sr. was born August 24, 1935 in Milford, Iowa. Ed was educated at the North Superior School. On June 30, 1956, Ed was united in marriage to Rose Belle Pieper in Spirit Lake, Iowa. He lived and farmed in Spirit Lake, Terril, Superior and in Minnesota before retiring to Harris, Iowa in 1986. Ed enjoyed gardening, raising goats and loved John Deere tractors, especially his John Deere B. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Harris, Iowa. Ed passed away August 20, 2013 at the Lake Park Care Center in Lake Park, Iowa at seventy-seven years of age. He is survived by his wife, Rose Lloyd of Harris, Iowa; children, David Lloyd of Stephenville, Texas, Donna Gerdeman of Lake Park, Iowa, Daniel Lloyd of Spirit Lake, Iowa and Dawn (Kyle) Hageman of Indianola, Iowa; ten grandchildren, Kristi (Michael) Allgood, Kendra Lloyd, Jeremy Gerdeman, Tyler (Maggie) Lloyd, Tysa Lloyd, Lance Gerdeman, Tayla Lloyd, Logan Hageman, Bryce Hageman and Colton Hageman; and seven great grandchildren. Ed was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Linda Eaton and Teena Gilbert; one brother, Stan Lloyd.
