Frank Joseph Schierholt was born May 2, 1934 in LeMars, Iowa, the son of Frank A. and Mildred (Ruba) Schierholt. He graduated from Excelsior High School in 1952. Frank served in the National Gaurd for three years.
On February 1, 1956, Frank was united in marriage to Becky Boyer in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
Frank owned and operated Schierholt Implement in Lake Park. He was a member of the Lake Park Chamber of Commerce and worked with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul food pantry in Arizona. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and playing cards with friends. He also enjoyed spending winters in Arizona and traveling all over the world.
Frank passed away October 21, 2010 at the Lake Park Care Center in Lake Park, Iowa at seventy-six years of age.
He is survived by his wife, Becky; daughters, Rebecca (John) Lev, Marie (Kent) Stewart, Theresa Schierholt (Ray Guthrie) and Angela Maasdam. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Delaney; nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Milford Schierholt; granddaughter, Sierra Stewart; son, Frank (Butch) Schierholt; grandsons, Matthew Schierholt and Blake Scheirholt.
