Goldie Mae Sebby Robards

A funeral service for Goldie Mae Sebby Robards, age 58, of Milford will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:00am at Harbor of Joy Lutheran Church in Milford. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 26th from 5:00-7:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Goldie Mae (Sebby) Robards was born August 17, 1955 to Russell and Phyllis (Raveling) Sebby at Lakefield, Minnesota. Goldie was a graduate of Spirit Lake High School. On June 30, 1979 she was married to Bruce Robards at Gull Point State Park. Bruce and Goldie had four children; Amy, Ashley, Adam, and Alisha. Bruce passed away in 1993. Since 1996 Goldie resided in Milford, Iowa where she worked as a caregiver in the health services field. Her enjoyment came from gardening, playing with the grandchildren, going to garage sales, and browsing the antique/flea markets. In 2000, she met Calvin Mast and formed a companionship that would last for fourteen years. Goldie passed away on March 23, 2014 at Spencer Hospital at the age of fifty-eight. Surviving Goldie are her children, Amy (Levi Matthews) and sons Brayden and Liam, Ashley and son Efrum, Adam (Danielle Pieper), Alisha (Andrew Meyer) and daughter Aryah, sister Linda (Bernie) Voss, nephew Ryan Voss and son Tyler, niece Jennifer Voss, special friend Calvin Mast, and many cousins and family members. Goldie was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Robards, parents Phyllis and Russell Sebby, parents-in-law Don and Doris Robards and other family members.
