Hans LeRoy Krogh was born February 2, 1928 in Maple Hill, Iowa, the son of Lars and Sophie (Peterson) Krogh. He attended Maple Hill School.
He served his country in the United States Army for three years until he was honorably discharged. Hans was united in marriage to Rae Lavonne Krogh.
Hans farmed and raised cattle until his retirement. He lived in Spirit Lake, Iowa and Laughlin, Nevada in his Trail-Lite Motorhome. He enjoyed music, going to dances, casinos, gardening, social events and meeting up with his friends. His passion was the motorcycle. He loved his daughters dearly, the grandchildren and family get-togethers.
Hans passed away October 5, 2008 at his farm in Spirit Lake, Iowa at eighty years of age.
He is survived by his two daughters, Susan Chapman and her husband, Dan of Milford, Iowa and Kathryn Sebby and her husband, Dwayne of Spencer, Iowa; three grandchildren, Dan Wilson, Skyler Sebby and Mashell Sebby; one brother, Nels Krogh and his wife, Margie of Spencer, Iowa; one sister, Viola Nordblad and her husband, Art of West Okoboji, Iowa.
Hans was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Taulbee and his former wife, Rae Krogh.
