Jo Ann Workman

A memorial service for Jo Ann Workman, age 63, of Lake Park, will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio. Jo Ann Workman, the daughter of Nellie (Sparks) and William Workman, was born March 28, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio. Jo Ann attended the Baptist Church. In 2007, Jo Ann moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and playing games. Jo Ann passed away April 16, 2018 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at sixty-three years of age. She is survived by two sisters, Brenda (Terry) Seney and Jessie (Greg) Gonzaga. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie and William Workman and one sister, Mary Barbour.
