Joe Glen Warburton
, of Palm Desert, CA, just 65 years old, died unexpectedly on January 21, 2022. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. He was born on August 14, 1956, attended Milford High School and lived in Milford most of his life.
Joe had been retired in recent years having previously farmed with his family. He attended Iowa Lakes Community College and worked as an accountant while his children were young. After moving to California, he bought and sold houses there and in Florida.
He loved being with family and friends, music, house hunting, and his motorcycle. He appreciated good food and wine and was always ready to grab a meal with those he loved. Recently he enjoyed visiting his mother and father in law, Jan and Steve Lange, at their home in Huntington and going to breakfast with them.
Anyone who knew Joe was touched by his kindness and easy smile. He would spend hours looking for the perfect desert home and vowed to never live in a snowy state again.
He is survived by his daughter Katelyn, son Brandon (Sarah) Warburton, stepson Jeremy (Emily) Lange and granddaughter Sailor Lavena, stepson Jacobi Lange, older brother Jim (Ann) Warburton, younger brother Scott (Carolyn) Warburton, mother and father in law Jan and Steve Lange as well as his extended family and friends. He will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his husband, Steven Lange and parents Lorraine and Melba Warburton.
