John Radcliffe

A memorial service for John Radcliffe of Sibley, Iowa, and formerly of Spirit Lake, will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, September 27, 2024, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake.  Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake.  Interment will be at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery in Okoboji.

John Kenneth Radcliffe, the son of Benjamin and Dorothy (Edgar) Radcliffe, was born February 6, 1955 in LeMars, Iowa. He was married to Susan Fisher and they had one son, John.

John was a truck driver most of his life and he loved helping family on the farm. One of his greatest joys was camping and he would go every opportunity he could get. He lived in Spirit Lake for many years until he moved to Ocheyedan, Iowa in 2014.

John passed away September 24, 2024 at Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley, Iowa at sixty-nine years of age.

He is survived by his son, John Radcliffe; grandson, Jac Radcliffe (Sydney); special companion, Shellie Houston; nieces and nephews, Jess (Tracey) Radcliffe, Ben (Kristen) Radcliffe, Amy (Mark) Benge, Jennifer (Derek) Franker, Jessica (Terry) Williams, Damon (Amy) Radcliffe and Darin (Erin) Radcliffe; sisters-in-law, Charlene Radcliffe, Wendy Radcliffe and Jeanette Radcliffe.

John was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; three brothers, Tom, Jim and David.
