Funeral services for Julie Lynn Puck, 55, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota will be 1:30 pm, Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sioux Valley, MN. Interment will be at Sioux Valley Cemetery in Sioux Valley. Visitation will begin at 4 pm, Friday, January 8, 2016, with family present from 4-6 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sioux Valley. Julie Lynn Puck, the daughter of Lois (Luther) and Arlo Puck was born September 1, 1960 in Lakefield, Minnesota. Julie was baptized at the Presbyterian Church in Lake Park, Iowa and was confirmed at the Sioux Valley Trinity Lutheran Church in Sioux Valley, Minnesota. Julie graduated in 1978 from Sioux Valley High School in Sioux Valley, Minnesota. Julie attended Rochester Community College in Rochester, Minnesota, graduating with her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1980. Julie worked as a registered nurse at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, South Dakota and most recently at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Julie was a dedicated nurse, a loving daughter, sister, aunt and great-aunt. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and antique hunting. On January 5, 2016, Julie passed away at her home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at fifty-five years of age. Julie is survived by her parents, Arlo and Lois Puck of Sioux Valley; two sisters, Cheryl (Peter) Weisbrod of Rochester and Jan (Dale) Knips of Sioux Valley; five nephews and one niece, Adam (Jen) Weisbrod, Michael (Stacy) Weisbrod, Bryan (Jen) Weisbrod, Katie (Jesse) Freihammer, Jared (Amber) Knips and Daniel (Jacqueline) Knips; four grand-nephews and three grand-nieces, Lincoln, Cameron, Harper, Griffin, Grayson and Amelia Weisbrod and Hannah Freihammer. Julie was preceded in death by her grandparents; one brother, Kenneth Puck and one nephew, Kenny Puck.
