Kiley Everett Perkins was born September 29, 1975, in Spencer, Iowa, to David Perkins and Lucinda Matthiesen. He attended and graduated from Harris-Lake Park School.

Kiley began working for Polaris Industries / Indian Motorcycle in 1999 and continued with this company in various positions. He started in the liquid paint department, and after several promotions, his last role was that of lead in facility planning.

Kiley married the love of his life, Amanda Delaney, on June 30, 2001, in Lake Park. To this union, they welcomed two sons, Bryce and Braydan Perkins. This family of four continued to make Lake Park their home and would forever be Kiley's number one priority.

Kiley was a great friend and would drop everything to help someone in need. He loved to laugh and tell stories. He had a quick wit and could easily turn a somber moment into something lighter. Coaching his boys alongside his two best friends and their boys was a highlight of Kiley's life. Other loves were hunting, golf, his garage, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Iowa State Cyclones. He was even successful at converting his wife and youngest son from the Iowa Hawkeyes, which continues to be a controversial move in Amanda's family to this very day.

Kiley passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at his home in Lake Park at forty-eight years of age.

Kiley is survived by his wife, Amanda; sons Bryce (Kilyn) and Braydan, mother Lucinda (Mike) Matthiesen, brother Kevin (Jen) Perkins, step-brother Chad (Rebecca) Matthiesen; step-mother Kathy Perkins, step-brother Shon (Missy) Gembler, In-laws Doug and Kris Delaney, Jennifer (Grant) Dau, Daniel (Ashley) Delaney, Special Aunt Alice Von Holdt, and additional aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
