Kris Newton

Kristen Noelle Newton, 49, passed away peacefully on Nov. 22nd, after a battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her family at her home in Lake Park, IA. Kris was a great wife, mom, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend. She embodied and instilled the values of faith & family and she will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She is survived by her husband John and her eight children, Cayli 21, Hannah 20, Lindey 19, Elizabeth 17, Brayden 15, Weston 14, Addison 12 and Lillian 7. She is also survived by her mother and father, Ken & Linda Talley and her brother, Kent. Services will be held Friday, Nov. 30, at Downtown Church, 2105 N Avenue, Milford, IA, 51351. Starting with a Celebration of Life/Visitation from 11:00-1245p. The memorial service will begin at 1:00pm followed by a fellowship time with refreshments. Any gifts to the family can be given to Downtown Church with the memo of: Kris Newton.
