Larry Pick was born on September 12, 1938 to Gregor and Theresa Pick. He graduated from Remsen St. Mary's High School in 1956. Classmates Jack Niggeling, Daryl Gengler and Larry Freking would continue to be Larry's lifelong friends. In 1970 Larry married Jenny Rogers at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Milford. The two raised three grateful children, Michael, Greg and Cindy.
Larry loved fishing, woodworking, gardening and being with his family. His life was full of love and laughter. Those who knew him would say that he was best at providing opportunities for others to shine. Though quiet, he loved a life that was loud, filled with friends and an ever expanding family. Grandchildren, Cody, Cameron, Katelyn, Jon, and Olivia will remember their grandfather with a fishing pole in his hand and a smile on his face. To many others, he was known as Uncle Fun, a man that provided endless opportunities for camping, fishing and road trip vacations.
Larry passed away at his home in Milford, Monday, October 15, 2018.
He is survived by sons Greg and Michael, daughter Cindy, and grandchildren Cody, Cameron, Katelynn, Jon, and Olivia.
He is preceded in death by his wife Jenny. The two will be united for eternity "whether he likes it or not."
