Linda Kay Moore was born December 16, 1947 in Estherville, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Florence (Mason) Clark. She was raised and educated in Estherville.
Linda was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Moore on January 12, 1968 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The couple lived in Emmetsburg, Greattinger and Spencer before settling in the Lakes area in 1985. Linda worked as a Home Health Aide for Lakes Regional Community Health and Hospice for over twenty years, where many life long friendships were made.
Linda was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Arnolds Park. She enjoyed spending summers in Sauk Center, Minnesota fishing and spending time at Rainbow Lodge with special friends Pete and Judy and the gang. She enjoyed family get togethers with her children and grandchildren and cooking for them.
Linda passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at Lake Park Care Center in Lake Park at sixty-four years of age.
She is survived by her children, Richard Moore (Mary) of Milford, Dawn Alt (Mike) of Arnolds Park, Nyron Moore (Dorinda) of Sanborn, Ron Moore of Arnolds Park and Amy Badgley (Dave) of Arnolds Park; grandchildren, Kesha, John, Cambria, Miki, Christina, Cody, Billy, Kaylee, Jasmine, Nyron, Jr, Lyle, Harlee, Ronica, Lucas and Sheryl and great-granddaughter, Maci. Also surviving are her siblings, DeAnna Helmick (Bob), Nancy Espinoza (Gary), Janie Baker (Richard), Alan Clark (Aimee) and Mark Clark; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
