A private family service will be held for Lois Puck, age 90, of Lakefield, Minnesota.
Lois Arlene Puck, the daughter of Helen (Chermack) and Edwin Luther, was born January 13, 1930 in Brewster, Minnesota.
Lois was united in marriage to Arlo Puck on December 11, 1950 and they were married for almost seventy years. They worked together on their farm for most of those years. Lois was able to drive tractor, do field work, climb silos and help with the farm livestock. She loved flowers and gardening and was an expert seamstress, always making many beautiful outfits for her family to wear. In later years, Lois began quilting and made quilts at home and at church. She also loved to bake and cook, making many meals for friends and family. Lois was especially remembered for her Christmas bread and homemade crescent rolls. She enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and most recently her great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her family.
Lois passed away August 11, 2020 at Sanford Worthington Medical Center at ninety years of age. She is preceded in death by her son, Ken; daughter, Julie and her grandson, Ken, Jr.
Lois is survived by her husband, Arlo Puck; children, Cheryl (Peter) Weisbrod and Jan (Dale) Knips; grandchildren, Dr. Adam (Jen) Weisbrod, Dr. Michael (Stacey) Weisbrod, Bryan (Jen) Weisbrod, Katie (Jesse) Freihammer, Jared (Amber) Knips and Dan (Jacqueline) Knips; great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Cameron, Harper, Griffin, Grayson, Amelia and Ethan Weisbrod, Hannah and Ben Freihammer, Blakely, Rogan, Nora and Emma Knips; brothers and sisters, Mary Beck, Alice Kluver, John (Judy) Luther, Alan (Lois) Luther and Bud (Doreen) Luther; and many nieces and nephews.
