Lorraine passed away on November 10, 2021.

Lorraine Joan Reimers “Sis” was born to Albert and Dorothy (Monroe) Wulf on December 4, 1935 in Sioux Valley, MN. She graduated from Sioux Valley High School in 1953. On June 27, 1954, she married Melvin Reimers at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sioux Valley. They made their home on the family farm in Sioux Valley, where they lived their entire life with the exception of 1956-1958 when Melvin served in the Army. Lorraine worked in the ASCS Office in Worthington and later in Lakefield, MN until her retirement in 1997. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aide and the VFW Ladies Auxilliary. In her younger years, Lorraine enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling trips with Melvin and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, canning and baking. Friends and family never left her home hungry as she was particularly known for her chocolate chip cookies and pan-fried walleye. Above all else, Lorraine deeply loved her family and cherished every family gathering.

Lorraine had the innocence of a child, the patience of a saint, and the wisdom of the ages. She set the standard for what it meant to live selflessly and to love unconditionally. She loved every person she encountered and was gifted in finding joy in everything she did. She was never short of a story or a listening ear, and was a stranger to no one.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 67 years, Melvin; five children, Randall (Cindy) Reimers, Lake Crystal, MN; Richard (Ranae) Reimers, Sioux Valley; David (Elaine) Reimers, Sioux Valley; Daniel (Julie) Reimers, Sioux Valley; and Kenny Reimers, Lake Park, IA; twelve grandchildren, Amber (Dain) Dahlsten; Nathan (Emily) Menk; Brady Reimers; Amanda (Joseph) Hefner; Michael Reimers; Mitchel (Sara) Reimers; Roshay (Tyson) Gath; Scott Reimers; Bryan (Nichole) Reimers; Angela (Jared) Johnson; Ashly (Connor) Grussing; Maria Reimers (Benjamin Rolf) and fourteen great-grandchildren Jasmine, Gage, and Journey Dahlsten; Ivy Ehrler; Lucas, Lauren, and Logan Reimers; Whitney and Evan Gath; Syncer Gregg; Payton, Morgan, Easton, and Emersyn Reimers. She is also survived by her sister, Delores Craig; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lyle Heuer, Merle Clark, Harriet (Harvey) Hansen, and Robert (Rita) Reimers; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers-in-law LaVonne (Lloyd) Hutzler, Fred Craig, Janice Clark, and Phyllis Heuer.
