Marilyn Rose Ann Baker was born to Merle and Elaine (Gednalske) Brown at Sioux Falls, South Dakota on May 30, 1955. She graduated from Arnolds Park High School and then studied criminal justice for a year at Western Iowa Tech at Sioux City.
On June 15, 1981 she was united in marriage to Rocklyn E. Baker at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The couple lived in Arnolds Park and Milford where Marilyn was a homemaker. She loved pets and animals.
Marilyn passed away Monday, March 31, 2008 at Lakes Regional Healthcare after a courageous battle with cancer.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Rocky Baker of Milford, mother, Elaine Brown of Arnolds Park, IA, half sister, Lynn Bernal, niece, Dana Knockle-Kern and nephew, Jim Brown.
She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Brown, grandparents, LaVern and Helen Brown William and Mary Gednalske and step-grandfather, Fred Gednalske.
Marilyn was deeply loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
