Marlene (Lenz) Gordon

A funeral service for Marlene (Lenz) Gordon, age 70, of Lake Park will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Marlene Kay Lenz Gordon, the daughter of Adam and Nettie (Burger) Lenz, was born on July 10, 1940, in Huxley, Iowa. Marlene was united in marriage to Dale Gordon. Together they lived in Spirit Lake and Lake Park, Iowa. Marlene was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Park. Marlene passed away at Pearl Valley Rehab and Nursing in Lake Park on February 28, 2020, at the age of seventy-nine. Marlene is survived by her daughter, Kim Frank; grandsons, Chris, Dustin and Chase; three great-grandchildren, Logan, Melonie and Lilly. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Nettie Lenz; brothers, James Lenz and Kenneth Lenz.
