Mary Kay (Johnson) Aldridge was born May 21, 1944 in Jackson, Minnesota, the daughter of Harold and Evelyn (Schmitz) Johnson. Mary was raised and educated in both Jackson, Minnesota and Spirit Lake, Iowa, graduating from Jackson High School.
Mary was united in marriage to Herbert Leroy Aldridge on April 6, 1962 in Jackson. The couple made their home in Spirit Lake, where they raised their seven children. Mary was a dedicated homemaker, while Herbert worked as a tree trimmer for Asplundh. Following Herbert's death, Mary worked as a clerk at Fareway until the time of her death.
Mary was a member of the United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake. She loved going to Flea Markets, and worked with a variety of social groups over the years.
Mary passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at sixty-seven years of age.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; father, Harold Johnson, and brother, Danny Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Ron Aldridge and his wife, Chrissy, Judy Aldridge-Dunbar, Herbert G. Aldridge, Kim (Aldridge) Austin and her husband, Matt, Brett Aldridge and his wife, Cindy, and their children Calvin and Tabetha, Kammi (Aldridge) Estrada and her husband Bob, Brent Aldridge and his wife, Mary, and their children, Madison, Brayden and Maisy. Also surviving are her mother, Evelyn Johnson; brother, Bruce Johnson; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
