April 4, 1992 — January 11, 2023

Meridith Elizabeth Graham cherished and beloved daughter of Sterling and Stephenie, and sister of Benjamin Graham suddenly passed at thirty years of age on January 11, 2023.

Meridith leaves behind her grieving parents and brother. Her father Sterling (Jan) Graham of  Spirit Lake, Iowa, Stephenie (James Ducey) Graham of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and her brother Benjamin (Kate) and her niece Maeve of Duluth, Minnesota; Aunt Sheila Jennings of Viroqua, Wisconsin, Aunt Fran and Uncle Brad Graham of Lake Park, Iowa, Uncle Todd Edson of Minneapolis and son Jack; cousins, Dan and Charlana Gubbins of Polk City, Iowa, Justin and Beth Clarke of Sioux Falls South Dakota, Summer Graham of Wichita, Kansas, Montgomery Graham of Wichita, Kansas, Amanda and Jesse Vallie of Appleton, Wisconsin, Alex Smith of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Ryan Jennings of Spirit Lake, Iowa; many dear friends; and her beloved cats, Yeti and Skitty.

Meridith was born in Ames, Iowa on April 14th, 1992. She lived in Jefferson, Iowa, and grew up in Atlantic, Iowa where she graduated high school with high academic honors. She later attended the Rhode Island School of Design and lived in St. Paul, Minnesota where she was a loved and avid member of the art community at the Schmidt Artist Lofts.

Her art was her passion. Meridith would create ethereal and stunning watercolors and drawings. She often helped other artists and would in turn seek to improve her already gifted talents. She was ever ready for adventure and immensely enjoyed slack lining and exploring the forests and mountains of northern Minnesota and the western United States. She was beautiful, kind, brave, and had a mischievous sense of humor.

Meridith’s ashes will be released in a private family ceremony in the forests of northern Minnesota when the spring flowers are in bloom.

Meridith is preceded in death by her cousin, Bradley Graham, Uncle Kipper Graham, Aunt Becky Graham; grandparents, Rodney and Charlene Graham and Dr. Lawrence and Marilyn Edson.

Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Lake Park, Iowa on Saturday, February 4th 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow afterwards.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Keg and Case Market in the Clutch Brewery in St. Paul, Minnesota on Saturday, February 11th from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm.
