We celebrate the life of Beaner (Nadine Studer) Brosh who passed away unexpectantly at her home on January 27, 2011. On May 4, 1950, she was the third daughter born to the late Leo Studer and Thressia (Monson) Studer and lived the first few years of her life in Estherville, Iowa.
Beaner was a 1968 graduate of Milford High School. Throughout her life, her humor and outgoing personality touched the lives of many people, especially those who had the pleasure of working with her at Longhouse Nursing Home, Truck Haven, Spencer Senior Center and Well-Life and at the time of her death, those at Hope Haven Group Homes. Beaner's second home, however, was working as an activity director at Oak Haven Care Facility where she felt most needed by her residents and co-workers with whom she formed many lasting friendships.
On December 26, 1997, she married the love of her life, Clayton (Red) Brosh. Unfortunately their time together was shortened by the sudden death of Clayton in 2002.
Left to cherish her life, are her siblings: Linda Jones (Pud) of Spencer; Joyce Rohrbaugh (Leon) of Mankato, MN; Kathy Morrill (Larry) of Spirit Lake; Greg Studer (Marilyn) of Scottsdale, AZ; Joleen Rongholt (Wayne) of Pleasant Prairie, WI; Jim Studer (Leah) of Milford; and her nieces and nephews along with their families: Michele (Rohrbaugh) and Mark Justesen and their children Cole and Leo; Leon, Jr. and Britt and their children Miles and Maari; Jeff and Jason Johnson and Dan Studer.
Although we are all saddened to lose such a special person, we know that through the support and love of her family and many friends we will all continue to celebrate and cherish her life.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in her name. A private family burial will take place at a later time.
