Nancy Rae Nance was born August 22, 1945 in Morley, Iowa to Perry and Clara Louise (Easterly) Joslin.
She graduated from Olin in 1963. She was united in marriage to Cordell Ira Nance on March 17, 1989 in Arthur Heights, Iowa. Cordell and Nancy lived in Spirit Lake, Iowa since 1989.
Nancy was a member of the Methodist Church, the Spirit Lake Women's Auxiliary Club and the Piss 'N' Moan (Car Club). She and Cordell enjoyed boating and fishing together in the beautiful lakes region. Family was such an important part of her life, as evidenced by the many photos she took of them, taking care of grandchildren, financial help she was always willing to give and in recent years she was given care in return. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, various collections such as plates, thimbles and spoons. Nancy was an avid Cyclones fan. She enjoyed old hot rods, car cruises and her car, Miss Daisy.
Nancy passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012, in Sioux Falls at sixty-six years of age.
Nancy is survived by brothers, Virgil and Jim; children, Todd and Rochelle; close family friends, Gary and Latrelle, eleven grandchildren and her beloved dog, Puff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Clara; husband, Cordell; siblings, Al, Steve, Kathy, Bev and Linda; children, Scott and Tiffany.
