Nina Keuck

A funeral service for Nina Keuck, age 92, of Milford, will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 1:30pm at First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Burial will be at Milford Cemetery. Nina Rose Keuck was born October 18, 1921 at Walthill, Nebraska, the daughter of Leo and Bessie (Dean) Huff. Nina was united in marriage to Albert Keuck on June 4, 1941. He preceded her in death on April 24, 2001. Nina was a member of First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji. She enjoyed cooking in restaurants for most of her life, until retiring in 1997. Nina died Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake, two days before her 93rd birthday. She is survived by her daughters, Sara Miller and her husband, Robert of Hubbard, Nebraska; Sherry Heidenwith of Corona, California and Sheila Reason and her husband, Gary, of Spirit Lake; sons, Charles Keuck of North Sioux City, South Dakota and Edwin Keuck and his wife, Nancy of Lone Jack, Missouri. Nina is also survived by her sister, Lois Messerschmidt, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Herbert and brothers, Dennis, Charles and Raymond.
