Rob Louderback

A Funeral service for Rob Louderback, 60, of Spirit Lake, will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home of Spirit Lake. Visitation will begin at 1 pm until service time at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Interment will be at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery in Spirit Lake. Rob passed away Friday, February 15, 2019, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. Robert Harold Louderback was born on July 12, 1958 to Warren and Gretchen (Hopkins) Louderback in Primghar, Iowa. He was very devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. He thought the world of his family. In June of 1994, he married Rhonda (Knapp) in Hartley, Iowa. After she passed he then met Julie Thurman. They married in April of 2014. Throughout his life, he worked in manufacturing and as a truck driver. Rob was interested in flea markets, gardening, woodworking, coin collection, and working on cars. He is survived by his wife, Julie; his mother, Gretchen; sons, Orry Ladwig, Lanny (Tammy) Allen and Jeremy (Kristina) Thurman; daughter, Jessica (SuAnn) Bushey; mother-in-law, Phyllis (Duane) Thurman; sister, Sue (Doug) Schultz; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Lee) Bendixen and Robin Burnham; brother-in-law, Terry (Nora) Thurman; grandchildren, Jacob Thurman, Brittany Bushey and Elijah Bushey; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren; brother, Rodney; son, Jacob Thurman; and his great niece, Kysa Forbes, and father-in-law, Robert Thurman. Rob will be missed by all.
