Stevan Lowe

Memorial services for Stevan Lowe, 75, of Spirit Lake, will be 2 pm Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lakeview Gardens Cemetery in Spirit Lake. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Stevan's name. Stevan Allen Lowe, the son of Dorothy (Birdsell) and Harlan Lowe, was born May 14, 1941, in Marshalltown, Iowa. After graduating from Toledo High School, he lived in Boone, Iowa before moving to Spirit Lake, Iowa in 1976. On October 14, 1987, Stevan was united in marriage to Linda Fisher in Spirit Lake, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, gambling, snowmobiling and hunting for mushrooms and asparagus. Stevan enjoyed playing pinochle at the VFW and having a few cocktails with family and friends. He loved being with his family during the holidays and watching his grandkids grow up. Stevan passed away July 1, 2016 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at seventy-five years of age. He is survived by his son, Steve (Kim) Lowe and their children, Nichole and Dustin; son, Stan Lowe and his children, Angela and Domenic; son, Brian Lowe and his son, Stuwart; step-daughter, Bridgit (Nic) Knudson and their children, Tyler and Lindsay; step-daughter, Brenda Harrold and her children, Sydney and Emily; brother, Tom (Betty) Lowe and several nieces and nephews. Stevan was preceded in death by his parents, Harlan and Dorothy Lowe; wife, Linda Marie Lowe; and sister, Marlene Doyle.
