Steve Friedrich

Funeral services for Steve Friedrich, 28, of Spencer, Iowa, will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Interment will be at Milford Cemetery in Milford. Visitation will begin at 4 pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2017, with the family present from 5-7 pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Stephen Howard Friedrich, the son of Denise (Strong) Friedrich and Howard Friedrich, was born February 4, 1989 in Storm Lake, Iowa. After Steve graduated from Okoboji High School, he worked at various restaurants, Pure Fishing and most recently at Eatons in Spencer. He enjoyed skateboarding, playing guitar, gaming, riding his motorcycle, cooking and especially loved spending time with his daughter. Steve passed away July 8, 2017 at his home in Spencer, Iowa at twenty-eight years of age. He is survived by his daughter, Lydia Friedrich; mother, Denise Friedrich of Milford, Iowa; father, Howard Friedrich of Alta, Iowa; sister, Jennifer (Ed) Wunschel; brothers, Nathan (Tammy) Peters and Matthew (Angie) Friedrich; grandparents, Arliss and Susan Friedrich; aunts and uncles, Curt and Julie Anderson, Mike and Roxann McCrea and Scott and Carol Friedrich; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Steve was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Denny and Rosalyn Strong.
