Steven R. Bremer

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be Saturday, May 14 from 2 pm - 5 pm at VFW Post 4514 Memorial Hall in Spirit Lake. Steven Ray Bremer, the son of Norman and Shirley Bremer, was born October 17, 1959 in Worthington, Minnesota. After graduation from high school, Steven worked numerous jobs before settling into farming for over thirty years. He lived in Ocheyedan and Spirit Lake before moving to Arnolds Park in 2010. Steven enjoyed car collecting, motorcycles and corvettes. Steven passed away April 26, 2016 at the Lake Park Care Center in Lake Park, Iowa at fifty-six years of age. He is survived by his brother, Michael (Lori) Bremer of Arnolds Park; Max and TJ Huntsinger of Spirit Lake, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Ashley, James, Tamara, Doug, BJ and Taylor; one great-nephew and five great-nieces; many other loving family and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Shirley (Taylor) Bremer and his brother, Robert Bremer.
