Stratton R. Eller

Stratton R. (Tad) Eller, Jr., 64, passed away in his home in Milford, Iowa on April 14, 2008. Tad lived and worked, in the Lakes Area since the early 1990's, and had many friends in the area. He also spent many summers as a boy, on Lake Okoboji. Tad was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Stratton and Rosalie (Swanson) Eller on February 3, 1944. He attended Roosevelt High School and the University of Iowa. Tad enjoyed a career in banking and property management in Colorado, California, and Iowa. He enjoyed golf as a hobby, and showed a tender heart toward all animals. He also offered his help to many friends in time of need. Survivors include daughters, Katherine Langner of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Tiffany Spahan of Portland, Oregon, and college bound son, Barrett Eller of Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by three brothers, David and his wife, Audrey of San Marcos, California, Fred of Des Moines, Iowa, and John and his wife, DeeAnn of Roseville, California; and two sisters, Beatrice Mueller and husband, Mike of Dane Point, California and Linda Eller of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Barrett Buxton Eller College Fund in care of John Eller, 2923 Nelson Drive, Roseville, California 95661.
