Veree Lane

Veree Lane was born August 25, 1935 in Spencer, Iowa, the daughter of Emil and Ella Mae (Eldridge) Rustan. She was united in marriage to Arnold (Tony) Fred Lane on February 5, 1955 in Fairmont, Minnesota. The couple lived in Spencer, Iowa and Arnolds Park, Iowa until they moved to Milford, Iowa in 1959. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in West Okoboji. She enjoyed painting crafts and playing golf. Veree passed away January 5, 2013 at the Milford Care Center at seventy-seven years of age. She is survived by her son, Terry (Mary) Lane and their children Patrick and Clifford (Jen); two daughters, Penny (Dennis) Baschke and their children, Tina (Scott) Nolte, Tara (Josh) Jurgensens and Tyler (Bree) Baschke; Cheryl (Clyde) Ihrke and their children, Jill Ihrke (Greg Whitaker) and Alison; great-grandchildren, Jasmin, Emma, Harper, Autumn, Arianna, Brennan, Caden, Kiera and Tayeten. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Ella Mae Rustan and her husband, Arnold (Tony) Lane in 2008.
