Virginia Rife

A Funeral Mass for Virginia Rife will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Milford immediately following Mass. Memorials may be given to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Virginia Alice Convy Rife was born in Laurens, Iowa on May 14, 1922. She married Eugene B. Rife on December 12, 1944. They had three children and resided the majority of their lives in Omaha before retiring to their summer home in Lake Okoboji, Iowa. Virginia passed away April 5, 2016 at ninety-three years of age. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Sadie Convy; brother, Jim Convy; and husband, Gene. She is survived by her daughters, Jane Field (Hugh) and Nancy Lindsey (Mike); son, Timothy (Caroline); brother, David Convy (Janet); grandchildren: Burton Field II (Kristine), David Field (Andrea), Matthew (Erica), Elizabeth Burke (Mike), Katie Thompson (Tyler), Maggie Ponce (Anthony), and Neriah Rife; step-granddaughters, Jasmine Rife and Beth Lindsey; great-grandchildren: Sofia Field, Sadie Field, Natalie Burke, Aaron Field, Reed Thompson, Charlotte Thompson, and Theo Ponce; step-great-granddaughters, Alyssa Weil (Austin) and Allyson Lessman; step-great-great-grandsons, Jayce Gleason and Ryder Weil.
