Vivian Reiman, the daughter of Elmer and Hattie (Eaton) Meyer was born November 3, 1919 at Ruthven, Iowa. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and graduated from Milford Public School in 1938. She worked as a cook at the Milford Public School for eight years. She was a homemaker.
Vivian was married to Clarence Reiman on June 26, 1945 at Cleveland, Ohio. They made their home in rural Milford and raised their family.
Vivian was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was also a member of Rosary Alter Society.
Vivian passed away August 21, 2010 at the Milford Nursing Center in Milford, Iowa at ninety years of age.
She is survived by her children, David Reiman of Sutherland; Jim Reiman and his wife, Sue of Milford; Kathy Hesseltine of Milford; Don and his wife, Bev of Geneva, Nebraska; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Joe and Gene Meyer of California; six sisters, Betty Farmer of Spirit Lake, Veronica Miller of Colorado, Lois Sporrer of Milford, Pat Wilber, Carol Allen and Jeri White all of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Aileen Huelsbeck and Mary Hemphill and a granddaughter, Jennifer Reiman
