William Little

A funeral service for William Little, age 67, of Milford, will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 2:000pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford. Burial will be at Spirit Lake Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. I lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Dickinson County Nature Center. William L. "Bill" Little, the son of Franklin and Lorraine (Wilson) Little, was born in Estherville, Iowa on February 24, 1948. He grew up in Okoboji and graduated from Arnolds Park High School in 1966. He continued his education at Iowa Lakes Community College, Iowa State University and Gunsmith School in Denver. Bill spent three of his summers working in the Forest Service in the state of Washington. Bill worked at Arnolds Park Amusement Park, Del's Mobile and McQuay's in Spirit Lake. He enjoyed hunting duck, geese and deer with his brother, dad and granddad. Bill passed away at the Milford Nursing Center on December 30, 2015 at sixty-seven years of age. He is survived by his mother, Lorraine; one brother, Danny (Mary) and one sister, Jill, all of Milford. Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Lola Wilson; father, Frank Little and numerous other relatives.
