Wilma Small

March 31, 1941 — August 8, 2010

Wilma was born in Worthington, Minnesota and raised on a farm in the Sioux Valley, Minnesota area. She attended District #108 Jackson County Country School and Graduated from the Spirit Lake High School. Wilma married Larry Galvin and was blessed with three boys, Scott Ray, Shane Lee and Stephan Douglas, and raised her family in Rembrandt, IA. Wilma married Larry Small on May 12, 1979 in Jackson Minn., and gained three step-children, Larry Marvin Jr., Debra Sue and Lonny Gene. In December of 1993, Wilma and Larry moved to the farm in Minnesota where she grew up. Wilma entered into rest at home. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents Aaron and Lily (Ferguson) Coyer, a Daughter Shelly Lea, Granddaughter Courtney Leigh Galvin, Brother-in-law Robert Christoffer and Sister Ardis Schultz. Wilma's favorite people were children and her favorite pastimes were gardening, sewing, reading and painting. She enjoyed taking her children fishing and being outdoors. Wilma leaves behind her Husband, Larry, Children Scott and Norma Galvin of New Windsor Illinois, Shane and Patty Galvin of Lake Park, IA, Stephan Galvin and fiance` Connie of Milford, IA. Three Stepchildren, Larry Jr. and Valerie Small of Cherokee, IA, Debra (Small) Haskins of Muscatine, IA, Lonny and Teresa Small of Muscatine, IA 11 Grandchildren, Trent, Troy, Trevor, Matthew, Jeremy, Christina, Aaron, Austin, Atkin and Aidan Galvin and Jordan Wheeler. 8 Step Grandchildren, Jay, Jazzmine, Lonny Jr., Bradley, John and Shayla Small, Linda Peterson and Zane Haskins. 3 Great Grandchildren Brother Alfred Coyer and Special friend Marlene of Coleman, Tx, Sister Mavis (Coyer) Christoffer of Spirit Lake, IA. Brother-in-law Allan Schultz of Lakefield, MN. Sister Marliss and Kenny Fisher of Lakefield MN. Sister Sharon and Doug Rutter of Spencer, IA. Brother Alvin and Maryann Coyer of West Allis, WI. Brother Allen and Myra Coyer of Deming, MN.
