Obituary of Michael Lindsay

Michael J. Lindsay was born September 19, 1958 in Spirit Lake, Iowa to Jerry and Delores (Benjamin) Lindsay. He attended school in Arnolds Park and worked as a cook and mechanic. He resided in Arnolds Park, Iowa, Mesa, Arizona for 15 to 20 years and in Spirit Lake, Iowa since 2007. Mr. Lindsay was affiliated with the Methodist Church. His hobbies included cooking and fishing. Mr. Lindsay passed away December 29, 2011, at Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake, Iowa at fifty-three years of age. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Lindsay, Spirit Lake, Iowa, Joann (Kent) Kastrup of Spirit Lake, Iowa; sister-in-law, Diana Lindsay; brother-in-law, Bob Arndt, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brothers Jerry, Tom and John; sisters Judy Arndt and Margaret Meyers.
