Obituary of Doris Clark

Doris Ann Clark was born March 3, 1943 in Estherville, Iowa, the daughter of Gilbert and Esther (Luehring) Gunderson. She was raised and educated in Terril. Upon graduating from Terril High School, Doris attended Buena Vista in Storm Lake. She was united in marriage to Elwin E. Clark on March 1, 1964 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Terril. The couple lived in Grand Forks, North Dakota while Edwin was stationed in the United States Airforce. They returned to Terril in October of 1967 where the couple have remained. Doris was a member of the Immanuel Church in Terril. Doris loved to follow her grandsons in extracurricular activities, cousin get togethers, camping and traveling in the winter to Phoenix for a few weeks. She also enjoyed watching Elwin bowl in many tournaments, fishing, reading and was a avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. Doris passed away July 21, 2010 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at sixty-seven years of age. She is survived by her husband, Elwin Clark; daughters, Teri (Don) Moyer of Terril and Tracy (Bruce) Enderson of Dickens; five grandsons, Tyler Enderson, Jeremy Moyer, Trevin Enderson, Danial Moyer and Taylor Enderson; one great-granddaughter, Jayden Enderson; two brothers, Duane (Yvonne) Gunderson of Terril and Bruce (Linda) Gunderson of Humboldt, Iowa; three sisters-in-law, Jeanette Keller of Lake Park, Iowa, Julie (Dan) Fordyce of Aurelia, Iowa and Judi (Dar) Renner of Burnsville, Minnesota; two brothers-in-law, Jerry (Ilene) Clark of Lakefield, Minnesota and Merlin (Cindy) Clark of Phoenix, Arizona. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
