Obituary of Robert Whitney

Robert Douglas Whitney was born to Duane and Janet (Foss) Whitney at Worthington, Minnesota on June 13, 1965. He graduated from Milford High School and then attended Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, IA. He graduated from U.S.D. in Vermillion, South Dakota and later obtained a Masters degree from Valdosta State in Valdosta, Georgia. In 1996 he returned to Iowa from Georgia. Bob passed away Saturday, June 19th at his home in Sioux City. He was 45 years of age. He attended the Riverside Lutheran Church in Sioux City. Bob was very musically talented. He is survived by his parents, Duane and Janet Whitney of Milford, brother, Brian (Cindy) Whitney of Evans, CO, sisters, Dawn Whitney of Sacramento, CA and Jennifer Whitney of Petersburg, VA, nieces, Tiffany and Brittany Whitney of Evans, CO as well as many friends
