Obituary of Doug Carpenter

Douglas Dean Carpenter was born May 30, 1963 in Cherokee, Iowa, the son of Jerry and Jean (Forbes) Carpenter. He graduated from Milford High School. Doug worked as a carpenter his entire life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, gardening and following professional sports on tv. He also loved to swim and fish at the lake cottage. Doug passed away August 13, 2012 at his home in Milford at forty-nine years of age. He is survived by his mother, Jean Carpenter; one brother, Duane Carpenter and his wife, Cathy, and their children, Shanae and Shane. Doug was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Carpenter; grandparents, Russell and Loucille Carpenter and Pete and Eileen Forbes; cousin, Bruce Malmstrom.
