Obituary of Janice Clark

Visitation: Friday, October 19, 2012 after 3:00pm with the family present from 5:00-7:00pm at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Lake Park Funeral: Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 10:30am at First Presbyterian Church in Lake Park Burial: Silver Lake Cemetery Janice Coleen Clark was born November 14, 1934 in Round Lake, Minnesota, the daughter of Harry and Elvera (Bunning) Reimers. She started country school in Sioux Valley, Minnesota and then in 2nd grade moved to Dickinson County and graduated from Lake Park High School. On October 16, 1964, Janice was united in marriage to Merel Clark. They moved to Grundy Center, Iowa where they raised their two sons, Marc and Ryan. They moved to Lake Park, Iowa in 1978. Janice worked in the dental field for many years. Janice was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Abu Becker Women's Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She really enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also did a lot of cross-stitch. Janice passed away October 16, 2012 at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley, Iowa at seventy-seven years of age. Janice is survived by her husband, Merel; two sons, Ryan and Marc; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin (Lorraine) Reimers and Bob (Rita) Reimers; sister, Harriet (Harvey) Hanson and brother-in-law, Lyle Heuer. She is preceded by her parents and one sister, Phyllis Heuer.
