I was sorry to see that Larry passed away. He was a classmate of mine at Oto High. We went all the way through School together. We had some fun times together as a class. I have so many fond memories of my classmates and of Larry. Last time I saw Larry was at our 50th class reunion at the Oto Alumni Banquet in June of 2008. He made us all laugh when he said how come I am the only one who still looks the same, you have all aged but look at me, I still look the same! We asked him if he had looked in the mirror lately?! So like Larry to give us all a good laugh. May he Rest In Peace, bless his soul. With my sincere sympathy to his family. Margaret (Wood) Nissen-Moville, Iowa

Scott and Anne - we are thinking about you both during this difficult time. Larry was never short on hugs or words of wisdom. We loved how every time we would see him he would ask if Addie was as spunky as she was when he would take her on the RIDES bus from pre-school to daycare. He would always say "that girl is going somewhere - she was not afraid to tell me how to get to where they were going each day." Thoughts and prayers as you navigate these difficult times!

I feel so blessed to have gotten to know and work with Larry and Anne in their catering business. That man could sure work and I never once heard him grumble about it! The most humble, caring, God-loving man I have ever known! The last time I saw him, I told him to tell Jesus "hello" for me. His reply? "I'll tell Him you're coming!" I'm sure Jesus and the angels are glad to have him with them now where he's no longer in pain and they can spoil him!! Bet he's having a great reunion with his family and friends!
