Obituary of Ronda Youde
A Celebration of Life Gathering for Ronda Youde, 71, of West OKoboji, will be held Friday, August 21, 2020 from 5:00-7:00PM at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford.
Ronda Rae (Ridenour) Youde was born September 2, 1948, in Emmetsburg, IA to Kenneth and Mary (Baas) Ridenour. The family moved to West Okoboji in 1956. Ronda graduated from Arnolds Park Schools in 1966, then Graduated from the University of Iowa in 1971. Ronda and James Youde were married on June 2, 1973, in Spencer, IA.
Throughout their lives, Ronda enjoyed her career in clothing retail as a District Manager for Kmart. She and Jim stayed true to their careers as they transferred among Omaha, NE, Peoria, IL, Morton, IL, Dayton, OH and Noblesville, IN. Their home was forever in Okoboji, however, as they vacationed every year and retired to their cabin in West Okoboji in July 2019. Ronda passed away on August 17, 2020.
Above all, Ronda and Jim loved spending time with their nieces, nephews, family and friends boating and making memories. Their many pets through the years were so loved and always included in their travels. Another love of Ronda's was Iowa Hawkeye football. As season ticket holders since her graduation from U of I, she hardly missed a home football game in Iowa City, even when the travels were long.
Living on with their loving memories of Ronda are her husband, Jim of Milford and Boji pup, nieces & nephews Lyndsi (Ridenour) Logan (Barry Johnston), Terry (Sharon) Wiese, Tammy (Marc) Hall, Tim (Jodi) Wiese, Erick (Julie) Youde, Katie (Jeff) Bohencamp, Summer Stoller. Great nieces & nephews, Aaron (Krystie) Wiese, Tyler Wiese, Emily Wiese, Jay Wiese, Reece Logan, Emma Wiese, Fletcher Bohencamp, Julius Bohencamp, Michelle Youde, Ava Johnston, and Great Great nephew, Weston Wiese. Sisters-in-law Karen Stoller, Janet (Bob) Wiese and Brother-in-law Jon (Cathy) Youde. Ronda's cousins were all very special to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gary Ridenour, niece Katie Ridenour, parents-in-law Robert and Vernita Youde and Bro-in-law Larry Stoller.
