Enie Booton, the daughter of Joseph and Bertha Harmelink, was born on November 1, 1937 in Sioux County, Iowa. At an early age, Enie moved to Jackson, Minnesota where she graduated high school.

On November 28, 1959, Enie was united in marriage to Ron Booton in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They made their home in Milford until moving to Arnolds Park, Iowa in 1998. In her free time, Enie enjoyed playing bingo (back in the day), sitting on her deck looking at the lake and spending time with family.
