I was blessed to have Tom recently become be my fuel man and boy did I enjoy him. This spring I told me he had cancer of which I just had this past year so I tried to be an encouragement to him. The last time I talked to him, he said he had gotten some bad news but wasn’t up to talking but to call him again. I promised I would but i didn’t get him called back soon enough. I’m really sorry Wendy and family. Great man he was!! Rest In Peace ole friend. It has taken me a while to figure out what to say to you all other than May God grant you all comfort in this rough time. I beat my cancer but I was one of the lucky ones. God bless you all.

I will forever cherish the memories I had with Tom. Seeing him in town and taking turns buying each other a beer, him stopping just to catch up on whats going on with us or stopping to load the fuel up for us, conversation of all the farming knowledge he had. I could have talked for hours with him and the last few stops he made here will forever be treasured seeing that smile and hearing his laugh. Gone but never forgotten. Here if you guys need anything.

Wendy and family--I was so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I have many fond memories of riding the school bus together many years ago, but seems like only yesterday. My heart is with you. I considered Tom like a goofy uncle. He spent a lot of time helping to look out for (and maybe doing some teasing along the way?) all the Dreeszen kids. I remember an awesome sled showing up one winter that hooked up to the snowmobile and allowed lots of kids to enjoy the snow all at the same time. He was the secret santa. I also remember him being the delivery person for a puppy. Us kids were really excited. Not so sure about mom and dad. His smile and laugh were contagious. You are blessed to have this special soul in your life.

Tom and I were classmates and I remember specific encouragement that he gave me in track when I ran in the mile relay for the first time. I respected him and wished I could compete as well as he did in athletics. I grieve with the family at this time and pray for comfort for you all.

Dearest Wendy, Ben, Jen, and Jessica, we grieve with you over the loss of your beloved husband, dad, and "Grumpa" and our brother Tom. There will be a hole in our family without him because he always seemed to be the "life of the party" at family gatherings. We were so blessed to all be together last summer with our cousins. Somehow it was like God knew he would be taking Tom home so he put him in charge of organizing our summer reunion. He was sort of the "rock" of our family. Love and hugs!
